Last week, a bipartisan group of 33 MPs came together to urgently call for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. As the civilian death toll rises to 5000 Palestinians, one third of which has been children, we need Canada to be a voice for peace and justice.
The Israeli state appears to be committed to this unrelenting siege and unlawful blockade of the Gaza strip. There is no end in sight. Their threats of violence are only escalating. If this violence continues at this rate, many fear the ethnic cleansing or genocide of Palestinians in Gaza.
Enough is enough.
The international community is calling for a ceasefire. Canadians from coast to coast are calling for a ceasefire.
Canada simply cannot remain silent any longer.
Send this letter that goes to ALL CANADIAN MPs and tell them that We need our leaders to take immediate action NOW.
